I'm at a Loss.

I Don't Think This is What Rosie Riveter Had in Mind

I hope all of you are enjoying your time today partaking in leisure activities. I however, am honoring this day by working overtime. And by overtime, I mean working a normal day. I’m not trying to be difficult when I ask this question: can any of us really afford to spend a day not working? I understand from a financial standpoint I would have been compensated whether I reported to work or not. Time though, is something that cannot be replaced. In closing, please do not assume I’m passing judgement; I’m merely curious to know how other people can find pleasure in the moment when that moment has a plethora of objectives needing to be completed.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m heading out to the office.
